Nelson "Nelly" Rodriguez (birthday: March 10) better known online as Level UP, is an American YouTuber who makes animations of various video games which include but are not limited to Super Mario Bros, The Legend of Zelda, Kirby, Minecraft, Pac-Man, and Sonic the Hedgehog.

Why He's Leveled UP

  1. He's a great animator with his animated style with pixels and made a nicely done parodies on video games, mainly Super Mario and Sonic the Hedgehog.
  2. A lot of his plots are clever and creative such as "If Steve was in Super Mario Bros" being one of the notable examples.
  3. He put a warning on his about page that his channel isn't an educational channel which is helpful incase a toddler confuses him for a nursery rhyme / educational YouTube channel, and first they put warning for COPPA compliance.
  4. His intro and outro songs are very nice and catchy.
  5. He also makes a lot of decent shorts as well like his video called "What would happen if Kirby inhaled a Goomba?".
  6. He also started a funny series called MarioCraft which is a parody of Minecraft and Super Mario Bros.
    • He also add many series that SMG4 didn't made.
  7. His video called "Baldi would be OP in Sonic The Hedgehog" has a funny plot-twist at the end where Tails managed to solve the 3rd question.
  8. His second channel, called "Team Level Up", collabs other youtubers.
  9. In MarioCraft, Wolfie is very cute.
  10. Like Family Guy (both before and after the downfall), Regular Show and The Ren and Stimpy Show, this channel shows us that when there is restrictions for this channel, yet it allows him to be creativity with comedic gags and storylines that are properly executed. For example, while "Mushroom Kingdom Mayhem" do have some blood and gore in it, it wasn't actually too much since he managed to make more funny moments, like when Mario uses Wario as a bridge and the other deaths, like Wario, Toad, and Peach, is off screen. While Smash Kingdom Mayhem does have some blood and farts in it, the rest of the violence matches with the Smash Bros physics to the point where it is creative in terms of Wario's defeat plus the fart attack by Wario does make sense since Wario in Smash Bros games does have some fart attacks with him.

Bad Quality

  1. He can sometimes release successors to some of his videos after a very long time, especially The Goomba Revolution, which its first episode premiered 3 years ago, and there was no second episode after that, though it did had a short and a Halloween special.
