Schaffrillas Productions is an American YouTuber that makes movie/video game analysis videos and rankings. He founded the channel with his friends, namely Chris Schaffer and others. Now he runs the channel without his friend Chris and brother Patrick; both of them were featured in James' videos on the channel.

Why He's So Shiny!

1. He has an excellent sense of humor and uses his voice tone very well. He also can make jokes super quickly and with a punchline that tickles the funny bone to compel you to laugh out loud.
2. He makes great videos about animated and live-action shows/movies. He likes to spread recognition to obscure media that he loves so that his viewers can perhaps happily experience the media too.
3. Some of his older videos consist of YTP videos that are surprisingly funny.
   • His other channel, Schaff Classic, also has newer YTP videos as well as AMVs.
4. His longer ranking or retrospective videos cover tons of ground over the show(s) or movie(s) he's talking about.
5. His podcast on his channel, Shinycast, is informative and the audio quality is decent.
6. His collaborations with other YouTubers are also well-thought-out and decent at worst.
   • His chemistry with William (SpaceTree Studios) is very good and makes their collaborations enjoyable.
   • His late best friend Chris Schaffer (Spacechris7) was a big part of the channel and will be missed. James and Chris would do collaborations on both of their channels, and their humor together would be better than their humor individually.
   • His great chemistry with his late brother Patrick Phyrillas (Pappy G) is gorgeous to listen to. Patrick will be missed.
   • He did at least two collaborations with ColeyDoesThings, and both times were great.
7. His video titles aren't clickbait nor are his thumbnails as they're simple and straight to the point.
8. He's aware that his opinions are his own and that everyone's opinions are valid.
9. He's genuinely a nice guy. He comments on other YouTube videos to give props to others and he promotes other good content in his community tab.
10. When he found out that some trolls were saying that the deaths of Chris and Patrick were "deserved" or other mean-spirited things, he calmly went to Twitter to tell his fans to report them and other such trolls.

Trivia

• He is asexual and biromantic.
• James almost never gives a 1/10 to any movies he reviews. That changed however when he reviewed the Mulan (2020). Which he awarded with the channels first ever 1/10.
• His profile picture is an edited picture of Tamatoa from Moana.
